We are delighted to contribute on the recently launched; Third Edition of our Global Sanctions Guide which has been updated to include changes to sanctions regimes internationally.
This update includes significant changes to the UK sanctions regime following the end of the Brexit transition period and the knock-on effect of this in other jurisdictions, along with significant changes in the Middle East, as a number of Gulf states have recently lifted the embargo on Qatar.
There have also been changes to the details of some of the contributing law practices to our guide.
With a new US administration, continued pressure on China, Russia and Venezuela and with the prospect of the re-introduction of sanctions against Burma, our guide is a timely reminder of the continued geopolitical complexity of international sanctions.
We hope you continue to find our guide of benefit to you and your team.
