Obtained his L.L.B at Khartoum University 1963 and at the same year was appointed Magistrate of the Criminal Court Khartoum North. 1964 was appointed District Judge of Khartoum. 1965 he joined Mr. Mahjoub’s Chambers. 1966 he established Omer Abdelati Law firm. He was granted the Honorary citizen of Louisiana State- USA.

In April 1984 he was elected the Vice president of the Bar Association. 1985 he held the position of Attorney General and The Minister of Justice of Sudan. May 1986y he was back to Omer Abdelati Law Firm.
Prof. Siddiq Hussein
Of Counsel Partner

Dr. Siddig obtained his LLB from University of Khartoum, his LLM and PHD from Warwick University.

Possesses expert knowledge of Banking and Business law , encyclopaedic in context knowledge of all branches of the law, a formidable English Common Law educational background , Indepth knowledge of the sciences and praxis of Islamic law and laws in MENA countries , 12 years GCC`s experience and the ability to research develope and achieve in a bilingual business environment of juridical diversity.

Law Professor at University of Khartoum, taught and supervised business law subjects, Jurisprudence and Evidence. Worked as head legal officer of the Sudanese French Bank, Advisor to Minister; on compliance of UAE labor law with international standards, Represented MOL in FTA negotiations with US , Australia and EEC. He also worked as Chief Legal Advisor at AlRajhi Bank.

Arif Abdelsalam

Has 20 years of experience on Advising Clients on Banking and Finance (Islamic), Corporate, Construction, Litigation and Commercial laws in general.

Nafisa Omer

With an LLB from University of Khartoum and a High Diploma in Human Rights and Part I Masters in Banking and IP, Mrs. Omer was selected as Sudan’s 2010 Candidate for the International Lawyers for Africa (ILFA) programme. She spent three months training with the Clifford Chance LLP London Office.

She has attended several courses at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, as well as attending courses at the Combar in London and shadowing a barrister at the Temple Chambers in London. Her practice focuses on banking, corporate, investment, commercial law, litigation and dispute resolution. Worked in various projects with the World Bank as lead legal consultant from 2014-2022

Yahia Bakri
Senior Associate

Holds an LLB degree from the University of Khartoum and has 14 years of experience on Employment, Corporate, Industrial, Construction Laws and litigation.

Rayan Omer
Senior Associate

Graduated with an LLB degree from the University of Khartoum with Honors and obtained an LLM from the same university. Her practice focuses on employment, corporate, commercial laws and litigation.

Mahmoud Omer

Holds an LLB degree from the University of Khartoum and his main practice focuses on  litigation, employment and Commercial laws.

Islam Tagelsir

An experienced Lawyer and Legal Advisor with more than twelve years professional legal work, of which six years are in the field of Trade policies, regional integration, international trade and trade dispute settlement, regulating competition, managing mergers and acquisition and one year legal experience in the voluntary and humanitarian field.
