In April 1984 he was elected the Vice president of the Bar Association. 1985 he held the position of Attorney General and The Minister of Justice of Sudan. May 1986y he was back to Omer Abdelati Law Firm.

Law Professor at University of Khartoum, taught and supervised business law subjects, Jurisprudence and Evidence. Worked as head legal officer of the Sudanese French Bank, Advisor to Minister; on compliance of UAE labor law with international standards, Represented MOL in FTA negotiations with US , Australia and EEC. He also worked as Chief Legal Advisor at AlRajhi Bank.

Nafisa Omer

With an LLB from University of Khartoum and a High Diploma in Human Rights and Part I Masters in Banking and IP, Mrs. Omer was selected as Sudan’s 2010 Candidate for the International Lawyers for Africa (ILFA) programme. She spent three months training with the Clifford Chance LLP London Office.
She has attended several courses at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, as well as attending courses at the Combar in London and shadowing a barrister at the Temple Chambers in London. Her practice focuses on banking, corporate, investment, commercial law, litigation and dispute resolution. Worked in various projects with the World Bank as lead legal consultant from 2014-2022

Rayan Omer
Senior Associate
Graduated with an LLB degree from the University of Khartoum with Honors and obtained an LLM from the same university. Her practice focuses on employment, corporate, commercial laws and litigation.
